Zudem durchlief sie diverse Führungsrollen innerhalb der medizinischen Forschung und wurde mit diversen Auszeichnungen wie “Best resident Award in Obstertrics and Gynecology 2010” und dem Long Service Award NIPRD - Humanitären Award 2018 ausgezeichnet. In Ergänzung dazu hat Dr. Margaret Idongesit Ekpenyong diverse klinische Studien in den Bereichen Malaria, Sichelzellenkrankheit, Covid, HIV & TB.

Demnach ist sie eine Koryphäe in ihrem Gebiet, weshalb ihre Rolle als Director of Operations & Human Resources essentiell für die Planung und Identifikation der geeigneten medizinischen Maßnahmen ist.

Dr Margaret Idongesit Ekpenyong, Director of Operations & Human Resources, is responsible for local planning and implementation.

Dr. Margaret Idongesit Ekpenyong has over 24 years of experience in the medical sector and has been working as Chief Medical Officer/Director Head of NIPRD Research Clinic in Abuja since 2017. In addition, she has passed through various leadership roles within medical research and has received various awards such as "Best resident Award in Obstertrics and Gynecology 2010" and the Long Service Award NIPRD - Humanitarian Award 2018.
